about

sarah foret  is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2020) and worked the past five years between fashion and costume in New York City. She has honed her skills in the ateliers of celebrated designers Adam Selman, Zaldy Goco, and Miss Claire Sullivan, contributing to projects at the intersection of fashion, performance, and celebrity. Her own designs have been featured in VogueWorld, Forbes Entertainment, and Bricks Magazine.

Sarah is currently based in Brooklyn, NY, where she works as a design and production consultant and is developing brand 4A Factory focused on reconstruction and up-cycling.

Born and raised in the Bible Belt of rural Alabama, Sarah’s creative voice is shaped by the complexities and contradictions of the American South and metropolis. Her work confronts ideas of identity, status, body image, and beauty standards, filtering them through the lens of high camp, satire, and subversive glamour. She approaches these themes through meticulously crafted couture garments, sculpture, performance, and immersive environments.

Whether through editorial projects, custom couture commissions, or brand collaborations, she seeks to create work that is not only visually striking but also deeply engaged with cultural conversations around self-image, subversion, and belonging.
